While True Believers in the unadulterated goodness of pure Open Source might decry an increased commercial leaning, most everyone else has long since gotten over the idea that someone has to pay the costs for most software development. Most in “the community” are just happy that it isn’t them. Enterprise customers, on the other hand, highly value support, simplification, indemnification, and “just works.” Better yet, they’re generally willing to pay for these things, which they perceive as value delivered.
